Our History
Tuesday Musicale of Greater Pontiac was organized by Mrs. S.A. Kessell in 1923 when she invited a group of ladies to her home to form a music organization. We are proud to hold the honor of being one of the oldest continuing cultural organizations in the area.
“For 100 years, Tuesday Musicale has been a stepping stone to the musical careers of many deserving Award winners.”
For 100 years, Tuesday Musicale of Greater Pontiac has been involved in serving the community with monthly musical meetings, in addition to our Women's Chorus and Two Handbell Ensembles, who present programs in Senior Living Facilities and at schools as well as Club meetings.
Our greatest achievement has been the monetary Awards given yearly. Tuesday Musicale of Greater Pontiac has been a stepping stone to the musical careers of many deserving Award winners.
Tuesday Musicale of Greater Pontiac is affiliated with the Michigan Federation of Music Clubs and the National Federation of Music Clubs.
